About the Summit
The 4th Annual Brittney LaShe’ Youth Leadership Summit: Confident to Lead is a powerful two-day experience designed to equip, empower, and inspire youth ages 8–17 to embrace leadership with courage, confidence, and purpose.
Held October 24–25, 2025, at Antioch UME Church in Pinewood, SC, the summit features interactive breakout sessions, dynamic panels, and impactful keynote speakers—all aimed at helping youth strengthen their communication, teamwork, and personal growth skills.
This year’s theme, Confident to Lead, encourages participants to discover their inner strength, use their voices boldly, and make meaningful choices that reflect who they are and where they’re headed.
We are honored to collaborate with Lauren Pearson, founder of Creations by Loriis Creation and visionary behind the Confident to Lead initiative, as this year’s co-host. Each year, a co-host is selected based on their involvement in the Youth Shark Tank and their growth within the Brittney LaShe’ Coaching & Mentorship Program, celebrating youth leadership in action.
More than just an event, the summit is a movement—one that continues to evolve each year with new themes, broader outreach, and greater opportunities for youth to lead with confidence, character, and impact.

Meet Lauren Pearson
Lauren Pearson is a 15-year-old 10th grader with a passion for fashion and design. From a young age, she dreamed of creating shirts and unique pieces that express individuality. Her very first design was a simple white shirt with her name in royal blue, a piece that marked the beginning of her creative journey. Her first sale came from one of her father’s friends, an experience that fueled her excitement and confidence to keep going. For Lauren, leadership means taking a path no one else has and inspiring others to follow. While she has faced challenges, such as moments of frustration, she has learned the importance of perseverance and staying focused on her goals. Inspired most by her mother, who “does everything” for her, Lauren is determined to keep her head up, work hard, and push forward even when things get tough. Looking ahead, Lauren hopes to take on big orders, reach many more customers, and continue growing her brand while staying true to her vision. With her love for gospel music, her creativity, and her drive, she is committed to building a business that reflects both her faith and her passion for design.
